Pricing
Founder pricing is open.
Kirrby Studio is new. I’d rather start with a small number of businesses I can genuinely look after than a long list I can’t, so the first five on each plan get the founder price. It doesn’t go up. Not held for a year and then reviewed. It stays where it is for as long as you stay with me.
The founder price is the price with a code. I hand the code out in the places I post rather than printing it here. If you were given one, enter it under the plans and every price on this page changes to it.
Founders also get 25% off anything the studio releases later, for as long as they stay with me.
There are five seats on each plan, and once they’re held, that price is gone from that plan. No countdown, no timer.
All prices in USD. I currently build for businesses based in the United States.
What all three include
This is the foundation for every plan Kirrby Studio offers.
Everything below comes with all three plans.
- Hosting, your domain connected, certificates, daily backups kept for about two weeks, security checks and the fixes they call for. The unglamorous half, handled. No check can promise complete security.
- Your site built to be found, in search and by the AI assistants people ask instead of searching. Standard on all three plans, not something you climb a ladder to get.
- What you already run, connected. Booking, calendar, payments. If it can be linked to the site, I link it. The accounts stay yours and you carry on running them.
- Your own back end. Your hours, prices, photos and the words on a page, changed by you the moment you want them changed, alongside your numbers and two generators, one for images and one for copy.*
- A proper sit-down on the site, where you bring everything you want done and I do the work. How often it comes round is the main thing separating the three plans.*
- Seasonal changes, on dates you pick. Two a year on Steady, four on Care and Growth. A real redesign for the season, and the site goes back to how it was when the season ends.*
- I keep an eye on things. Anything broken, or wrong in something I made, gets fixed once I find it or you tell me, whether or not you’ve noticed.
- I make every effort to be there Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays, and I tell you before I’m away. Looking at something and finishing it are different things, and I’ll tell you which one you’re getting.
- The site is yours, on your own domain, once the build fee has cleared, and it stays yours.
The three plans
A build and a monthly plan, together.
Once you are ready, I have one proper conversation with you, build your site, and give you thirty days of back and forth to get it right, limited to weekly touch bases. Your recurring monthly fee starts when the site goes live, or at the end of those thirty days, whichever comes first.
Steady
For a site that mostly needs to stay as it is
$597
once
+ $97 / month
5 founder seats open on this plan, at the price with a code.
You have one place, or one thing you do. You built the site yourself or paid somebody once, and looking after it became your job whether you wanted it or not.
Steady gives you access to run your site when it matters. It stays up, stays correct, stays find-able, and once a year you have the option to connect and I work through whatever you want changed.
Best for A business that does roughly the same thing all year.
What you get
- AI help to write and picture your site, included
- One proper sit-down a year. You bring everything you want changed, I do the work. Copy written, images made, redesign done, etc.
- Site analytics, the numbers waiting in your back end whenever you want to look
Care
More maintenance, less work on you
$797
once
+ $197 / month
5 founder seats open on this plan, at the price with a code.
The site has to keep up with the business. What you offer moves, what you're running moves, and pages on your site change periodically, but you don't have the evenings to adjust them yourself.
The everyday things stay yours to change whenever you want. Here, you get the option to meet every quarter and work through everything you've been saving up.
Best for A business whose offering moves through the year.
What you get
Everything in Steady
- AI help to write and picture your site, included
- The optional sit-down every quarter instead of once a year
- Fuller analytical read of your numbers, sent to you rather than waiting for you. In development; founders get it first
- Early access to the studio apps I'm testing, at the basic level. Free while they're in beta
Apps in testing
- Ad generation for social media
- Deck design for presentations
- Competitor insights
- And more
Growth
I do the heavy lifting, you focus on the other things
$997
once
+ $297 / month
5 founder seats open on this plan, at the price with a code.
You're actively trying to bring work in. You're posting in a few places, running things, trying things, and the site sits off to one side of all of it.
You are regularly updating site info, offers, or events, and you want the security of regular updates so you can focus on other things. Or maybe you just don't want to ever touch the back end of another site again, no judgement here.
Best for A business already putting real time into bringing work in.
What you get
Everything in Care
- AI help to write and picture your site, included
- The optional sit-down every month instead of every quarter
- Your analytical numbers come back pre-read, with recommendations on the data. In development; founders get it first
- Early access to the studio apps I'm testing, at the advanced level. Free while they're in beta
Apps in testing
- Ad generation for social media
- Deck design for presentations
- Competitor insights
- And more
Which plan is actually yours
Let me help you decide.
While founder seats are open, you can move to any plan that still has one, whenever you want. You pay the build difference to get set up on it, and move to its monthly price.* Once a plan’s seats are gone, moving is a conversation instead of a switch. Ask me and I’ll work it out.
Steady is a site that stays right without you touching it.
I’d recommend it if the business does roughly the same thing all year: one place, or one thing you do, with a list of services or a menu that changes now and then rather than constantly. If you know you don’t touch the site often and you expect that to stay true, don’t pay for a plan built on the assumption that you will.
Care is a site that keeps up with the business.
I’d recommend it if what you sell or what you’re running moves through the year: seasons, new services, things you add and drop. If you prefer the security of being able to make changes when you want, and not have to manage them alone, then Steady’s yearly sit-down is too far away to be useful to you.
Growth is a site being actively pushed, and you prefer not to live behind the action.
I’d recommend it if you’re already putting real time into bringing work in and the site is the part that never keeps up. Quarterly stops fitting once you’re doing something new every month, and you’d rather get suggestions alongside your numbers than a chart to work out on your own. This plan provides the option to meet monthly and take those changes off your plate. Send me what you need done, approve it, and you're done.
Where the line sits
What Kirrby Studio doesn’t handle.
Worth reading before you pick a plan. I’d rather be straight with you about it here. If it leaves you with a question, the FAQ carries the longer answers.
- Inventory and day-to-day operations. Kirrby Studio doesn’t personally track your stock or run your business systems. Those stay with you, in the tools you already use for them or on the back end I supply you control over. Connecting them to your site is the part that’s mine, maintenance is yours.
- Changes one at a time, all week. The small everyday things are yours to change whenever you like. The session work covers the bigger things like a new page, the copy on a page rewritten, photos swapped out, design, etc. These happen in your sit-down, as often as your plan says. During those sessions, your changes can be big or small, it's your session.
Anything broken is the exception and gets fixed on sight. - Running the platforms you bring. I do need access to connect your domain and your integrations on the back end. What I don’t do is operate those accounts for you. They stay yours, and they stay in your name.
- Applications. Kirrby Studio designs websites. If what you want is an application, that’s a different conversation, and I’ll say so rather than quietly building you something half right.
- Seasonal work that stays. A seasonal change dresses the site for a season and then puts it back exactly as it was. New site work is what the sit-down sessions are for. There’s a fuller answer on the FAQs.
- Anything on your bill you didn’t agree to. If you want something a plan doesn’t cover, I price it and tell you before any work starts. Taxes are outside my control, and they are applied as required.
The small print, said plainly
- Your own back end. Your hours, prices, photos and page copy, edited by you and live the moment you save, with your numbers and both generators, image and copy, in the same place. If you’d rather just send me the change instead, that always works too.
- The AI tools are included on every plan. They help you write and picture your site. Making a draft or an image costs something every time, so how much they make each month is set for your plan and stored with your plan schedule when you accept; it can’t be reduced while you’re on the plan unless you agree. The tools can be wrong, so check what they make before you publish it.
- The sit-down. Once a year on Steady, every quarter on Care, every month on Growth. That’s where the bigger work happens: copy written, images made, design done. Not everybody will use every one. What you’re buying is the safety net of somebody whose job it is to do it, so it isn’t sitting on your list.
- Seasonal changes revert. A season is a real redesign (seasonal pages, copy rewritten), and the site returns to its pre-season state when the season ends.
- The apps are in beta. Care and Growth get early access to the studio tools I’m testing, free while they’re in beta. They are the studio’s own, so they stop when your plan does. As a founder you get 25% off anything else the studio releases while you’re a client.
- Anything outside the plan. Ask in the survey or any time after. I price it and tell you before any work starts.
- Switching plans. Open founder seats mean you can switch at any time. You pay the build difference to get set up on the new plan, and move to its monthly price. After seats close, it’s a conversation.
- If you leave. You can leave from your account, online, in one press, and nothing is owed for it. The site is yours, on your own domain, and you take it and everything on it: the files and design, your words and images, everything saved in your back end, and a copy of your data, within seven days of leaving or by your site’s last day if that’s sooner. Files aren’t a running website, so you’ll need hosting of your own and someone technical to set them up. Hosting and looking after it are what the monthly plan pays for, so those stop when the plan does, along with your back end and the AI tools. What stays with me is the system underneath and the reusable pieces I build with. I keep your files for twelve months, then email you and delete them thirty days later unless you ask for them.
- The build fee is refundable for fifteen days. Counted from the day you pay it, in full. If you take the refund, the build stops and the plan never starts.
None of this costs anything until you’ve seen the website.
The report and the mock come first, and both are free. No card, no account, no call. If you like what you see, you and I talk: one conversation, about ninety minutes, free, covering the business, the feel you want, and anything that needs connecting. Then I build, and you get thirty days of back and forth to get it right. It goes live on your own domain, and that’s when your first month starts.
